Dr. Susan Mackin (Susie) grew up in nearby Suamico. Upon graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997, she moved to Idaho Falls, ID and has been practicing small animal medicine ever since.
Dr. Mackin feels very fortunate to have developed many wonderful long lasting relationships with her patients and their owners. She feels very deeply committed to provide the best care possible for her patients and maintaining a trusting relationship with the clients.
Dr. Mackin is thrilled to finally return home with her husband, John, and their two children, Connor and Addie. After enjoying all the West has to offer, it is great to be closer to family. The Mackins reside in Suamico with their adored two cats, Gus and Polly, and their dog, Eloise. The four legged Mackins have all been humane society successes!
Outside of her committment to her patients, Dr. Mackin enjoys any outdoor activity, particularly mountain and road biking, running, swimming, horse back riding and hiking.
